​Founded in Lower Hutt in 2007 and backed by over 30 years of experience, Bfit with Tarsh is built on the belief that life should be full of joy, gratitude, and free from judgment. These values guide our core teachings and practices, with a strong focus on helping clients connect more deeply with themselves — both physically and mentally.

At Bfit with Tarsh, we offer a welcoming, supportive environment with a range of services, classes, and workshops designed to promote healthier bodies and minds for people of all ages and abilities.

Our studio classes include Group Mat Pilates, Private Pilates Reformer, Stretch and Core, and specialised sessions for Senior Adults — all delivered with care, experience, and plenty of options to suit every level.

Kia ora and Welcome to Bfit with Tarsh

I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 30 years, and I still love what I do.

I’m also a Registered Nurse, which means I can combine my knowledge of health and movement to support you in looking after your body — because your health truly is your wealth.

Fitness Has Changed — and That’s a Good Thing
I’ve watched fitness trends change over the years, from the days of G-string leotards, headbands, and leg warmers, to where we are now. These days, it’s not about how we look — it’s about how we feel.

Why I Do What I Do
I’ve worked with thousands of clients, and the changes I see in them are what keep me coming back every day. I love sharing my knowledge and watching people grow in confidence, move more freely, and feel younger and more capable in their everyday lives.

Real Life, Real Bodies
I’m also a mum of two boys. Even though they’re older now, I remember how challenging it was to find time to exercise when life was busy. Many people also feel judged, intimidated, or guilty for taking time for themselves.

But here’s the truth — we need to look after ourselves.

We have one body to last us a lifetime. If we don’t care for it now, it won’t support us later, and we may miss out on doing the things we love.

My own journey started in competitive gymnastics. I began at age ten — considered late — and after years of hard work, I achieved my dream of representing New Zealand 3 times. I understand how challenging it can be to reach your goals, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Experience You Can Trust
Over the years, I’ve taught a range of fitness styles, including Boxing, Step, Slide, Pump, Tai Fit, and more. I’ve also practised many Pilates methods, which were essential during my gymnastics career and remain part of my routine today.

As I age, I can clearly see and feel the benefits of Pilates — improved mobility, strength, and confidence. That’s why I’m so passionate about it.
